The Challenge

What we were up against

Allianz SW had no structured mechanism for capturing or acting on employee ideas. Innovation happened informally — good ideas got lost, and the people closest to problems had no channel to propose solutions. Leadership wanted a governance model that would surface actionable ideas without creating bureaucratic overhead.

Our Approach

How we delivered it

1Phase 1

Three-Track Innovation Model

Designed a framework with distinct tracks for sales improvement, environment design, and operational efficiency — each with its own submission criteria, evaluation cadence, and sponsorship structure.

2Phase 2

Governance Without Bureaucracy

Built lightweight review boards with clear decision rights and fast feedback loops. Ideas moved from submission to decision within 15 working days — fast enough to maintain momentum.

3Phase 3

Engagement & Adoption Programme

Launched internal campaigns to drive participation, with visible tracking of submitted ideas and transparent reporting on outcomes. Made innovation visible, not theoretical.

The Results

What we achieved

Enterprise Scale

Organisation-wide Transformation

The framework exceeded participation targets within the first quarter. Employee-generated ideas led to measurable improvements across all three tracks, and the governance model became a permanent part of the organisation's operating rhythm — still running today.
